Eline is a PhD student in Macrophage Biology group and joined in January 2023. Her research project involves studying the role of CSF1R in inflammation and resolution. Her primary focus is to investigate the role of CSF1R in bacterial infections known to cause high bacterial burden in macrophages such as Listeria monocytogenes and Mycobacterium bovis, using macrophage/CSF1R deficient mice models. In 2022 she obtained a MSc in Pharmaceutical Engineering and in 2019 a BSc in Biotechnology both from Denmark’s Technical University.
